This was our morning adventure with Nat's BSSI team. We went to Camp Fortune's Aerial Experience Park to play in the trees with zip lines and high wires.

ctravers > This was our group getting set up with the necessary equipment. This was really just a harness and some gloves. The harness had a little pully thing fo rhte zip lines, and two safty lines with carabiners.

ctravers > This was the first person up in zone one. There was a total of five zones for adults, each with various obstacles. The red line along side of the ladder was the safety line while climbing. It was pined every 2 rungs so if you did fall, you wouldn't go far.

ctravers > This was one of the first obstacles. It was fairly straight forward as the logs we all attached with four lines. It got more complex later on. The problem most people had here was getting over the hight, and learning to rely on the harness.

ctravers > I think this was the beginning of zone two. Notice that the space between the step on the bridge are starting to vary. This one got tricky if you stopped or tried to place both feet on the same rung.

ctravers > Nat at the beginning of zone 2. You can se her blue safety lines clipped to the red line running from tree to tree.

ctravers > A few steps later.

ctravers > This was one of the tricker obstacles. Each log is at an angle to the previous one, and is held in place by two lines, one at each end. This means that if you didn't keep you center of gravity over the point where the rope was anchored, the log would swing, making it very tricky to cross.

ctravers > This one was basically like walking from swing to swing. It was fairly easy, but you needed to get the hands on the right ropes, or you'd get twisted up.

ctravers > This was one of the zip lines. This was probably the best part of the experience. It was also how my manager broke his leg in Germany, but we won't talk about that.
